Family Practice Physician Opportunity

We are hiring a Family Practice Physician to join a respected healthcare organization in Manhattan. Position Details:

• Location: Manhattan, NY
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
• Patient Volume: Average of 16 patients per day
• Setting: Outpatient-only, no hospital follow-ups or on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care, including annual exams, sick visits, and employer-related medical clearances
• Conduct evaluations in specialized areas such as Cardiology, Neurology, Sleep Medicine, Pain Management, and Gastroenterology
• Focus on patient care with full support from medical assistants and scribes for documentation, vitals, and routine tests

Qualifications:

• Education: MD or DO
• Certification: Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Licensure: Active New York State medical license
• Preferred: Credentialing with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurances

Work Environment & Support:

• EHR: Athena Health system
• Administrative Assistance: Dedicated support for pharmacy needs, medical records, and prior authorizations
• No responsibility for psychiatric or pain medication management

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Structure: $300,000 annually or $125/hour (1099)
• Potential Earnings (with Bonus): $280,000 – $300,000

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Family Medicine
• Fluency in Spanish or Russian is a plus
• Credentialing with Medicaid/Medicare and NYC health plans preferred
• Active hospital privileges in NYC are a bonus

Relocation Requirement:

• Candidates must be able to relocate to New York, NY 10003 before starting
