Family Practice Physician – Outpatient Opportunity in Manhattan, NY

A well-established healthcare organization in Manhattan is seeking a Family Practice Physician to join its outpatient team. This role is ideal for physicians looking for a balanced work environment that offers professional autonomy, team collaboration, and scheduling flexibility while maintaining a fulfilling clinical practice.

Position Details:

• Location: Manhattan, NY
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
• Patient Volume: Approximately 16 patients per day
• Setting: Outpatient-only (no hospital follow-ups or on-call duties)

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services, including annual exams, sick visits, and employer-related medical evaluations
• Perform assessments in specialties such as Cardiology, Neurology, Sleep Medicine, Pain Management, and Gastroenterology
• Maintain a patient-centered approach with full support from medical assistants and scribes for documentation, vitals, and routine tests

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with Board Certification in Family Medicine
• Active New York State medical license
• Preferred: Credentialing with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance plans

Work Environment & Support:

• EHR System: Athena Health
• Administrative Support: Dedicated assistance with pharmacy requests, medical records, and prior authorizations
• No psychiatric or pain medication management required

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $300,000 annually or $125/hour (1099)
• Potential Earnings (with Bonus): $280,000 – $300,000

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Family Medicine

Relocation Requirement:

Candidates must be willing to relocate to New York, NY (10003) before starting.
