Hiring! Full-time Family Medicine Physician in Takoma Park, Maryland

Our growing team of healthcare professionals is looking for a Family Medicine Physician to join our team. You will conduct exams, order tests, and prescribe medicines or implement treatments. We attempt to focus on a higher quality of care rather than a higher quantity of patients, which allows us to see patients regularly and provide comprehensive care.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $280,000-$300,000 per year + benefits

Job Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and physical examinations
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
  • Develop and manage personalized treatment plans for patients
  • Provide preventive care and health education to patients
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records of patients' histories
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed
  • Assist patients with managing chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease
  • Offer counseling and support for mental health and emotional issues
  • Administer vaccinations and other routine preventive care services
  • Perform minor surgical procedures as needed
  • Provide prenatal and postnatal care for expectant mothers
  • Refer patients to medical specialists for advanced care when necessary

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Completion of a Family Medicine residency program
  • Valid medical license to practice as a Family Physician
  • Up-to-date knowledge of medical practices, treatments, and technologies
  • Ability to diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and patient management skills
  • Empathy and compassion in patient care
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
