Position: Family Medicine Physician
Location: Decatur, Illinois
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 per year + benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking a board-certified Family Medicine Physician to join our outpatient clinic in Illinois. In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver patient-centered, high-quality care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments for patients across the lifespan.
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory illnesses.
  • Provide preventive care services such as vaccinations, wellness exams, and routine screenings.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, imaging, and EKGs).
  • Prescribe and manage medications, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, preventive health practices, and chronic disease management.
  • Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Illinois.
  • 1+ years of clinical experience preferred (newly board-certified physicians are encouraged to apply).
  • Proficiency in outpatient care, chronic disease management, and preventive medicine.
  • Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation.
