Position: Family Medicine Physician
Location: Malibu, California
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 per year + benefits
About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team. As part of our practice, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive care to patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors, fostering long-term relationships with the community. You’ll work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, ensuring that each patient receives personalized, compassionate care tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including children, adults, and seniors.
- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions.
- Conduct routine health screenings, immunizations, and health education to prevent disease and promote overall wellness.
- Manage long-term health conditions like diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and heart disease, coordinating care for optimal patient outcomes.
- Offer guidance and support to patients and their families regarding lifestyle changes, medications, and disease prevention.
- Perform routine physical exams, health assessments, and age-appropriate screenings to maintain health and identify early signs of illness.
- Work collaboratively with specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive, coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes, in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine (ABFM or equivalent).
- Valid medical license to practice in California
- A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- BLS and ACLS certification required (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience in a family medicine setting preferred but not required.
