We are seeking a Full-time Pain Management Physician to join our team. As Pain Management Physician in the gastroenterology specialty, you will work closely with gastroenterologists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals. Your collaborative approach will ensure that patients receive holistic care that effectively addresses both their gastrointestinal and pain management needs.
Salary:
We are seeking a Full-time Pain Management Physician to join our team. As Pain Management Physician in the gastroenterology specialty, you will work closely with gastroenterologists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals. Your collaborative approach will ensure that patients receive holistic care that effectively addresses both their gastrointestinal and pain management needs.
Salary:
- $300,000 - $400,000 per year plus health insurance.
- Assess patients' pain levels, medical history, and psychosocial factors influencing their pain.
- Create individualized treatment plans incorporating pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches.
- Administer interventional pain management procedures, including nerve blocks and epidural injections.
- Prescribe and adjust pain relief medications, monitoring patient responses to optimize outcomes.
- Inform patients about their pain conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive pain management and address all aspects of the patient's health.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Active New York state Medical License.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant clinical experience in pain management.
- Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration for prescribing controlled substances.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
