Full-time Internist Needed in a Private Practice in Thornton, CO

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional on-call responsibilities shared among the team.
Salary:
$250,000 and $320,000 per year base salary DOE plus bonus and full benefits + paid malpractice

Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, employing evidence-based medicine and incorporating the latest medical advancements.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work, imaging studies, and specialized procedures, to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment decisions.
- Prescribing and managing medications, therapies, and other treatment modalities to promote patient health and wellbeing.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Providing patient education and counseling on disease prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
- Participating in medical research, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education to stay abreast of the latest developments in internal medicine.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
- Valid and unrestricted MD license in the state of practice.
- Excellent clinical skills and a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine.
- Proficiency in medical decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and collaborate with colleagues.
