Full-time Internist Needed at a Nursing Home and Long-Term Care Center in Edison, NJ
The Health Desk Medical Company is a 350-bed facility that offers a wide variety of services to the community including emergency care, labor and delivery, general surgery, cardiology, pulmonary medicine, acute inpatient rehabilitation, sports medicine, physical therapy, orthopedics, outpatient testing, wound care and many others.

Work Schedule:
Work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional shared on-call responsibilities among the team.
Salary:
Enjoy an annual base pay between $250,000 and $320,000, depending on experience (DOE). Additionally, a full benefit package with paid malpractice insurance and a bonus.

Responsibilities:
- Work at Occupational Health Clinics, Long-Term Care Facilities, and Nursing Homes.
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and studies of medical histories.
- Create tailored treatment programs with cutting-edge medical technology and evidence-based medicine.
- For an accurate diagnosis and treatment choices, order and interpret diagnostic testing.
- Manage and prescribe treatments and drugs for patient health.
- Work together as a multidisciplinary team to provide patients with comprehensive treatment.
- Educate patients on illness prevention and lifestyle changes.
- Keep up-to-date medical records in accordance with the law.
- For an up-to-date understanding of internal medicine, take part in research and continuing medical education.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
- Valid MD license in the state of practice.
- Excellent clinical abilities and knowledge of evidence-based medicine are displayed.
