Be a Full-time Internist in Fort Worth, TX
Join our care teams at Medicine Premier as full-time Internists that see patients both independently and alongside the doctors, provide longitudinal care, and build meaningful patient relationships; this creates trust and helps the patient understand and feel connected to his/her care plan.
You will be a valued member of our outpatient clinic, where our team of experienced nurses and dedicated support staff work together to provide high-quality care.
Job Schedule:
We offer a well-balanced schedule with flexible daytime shifts.
While our clinic primarily operates during regular business hours, occasional evening and weekend shifts may be required to accommodate our patients' needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provision of exceptional primary care.
- Office visits for routine and acute issues.
- Annual wellness visits and health risk assessments, which require a holistic view of health and a focus on thoughtful, accurate, and specific documentation.
- Patient training and education about their condition anatomies, risk factors, and warning signs.
- Care coordination with other providers, specialists, testing facilities, and agencies.
- Population health leadership, in collaboration with the broader Care Team (e.g., making sure all of our patients are routinely screened for colorectal cancer per the age guidelines).
- Participation in patient care rounds and conferences, including communicating patient management strategies to members of the Care Team and collaborating with the team to ensure that care plans and strategies are followed through and expanded on.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state, with a clean disciplinary record.
- Board certification in Family Medicine, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to excellence.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a family medicine practice, showcasing your clinical proficiency and ability to handle diverse patient cases.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to provide accurate diagnoses and develop optimal treatment plans.
Salary:
We offer a highly competitive annual salary in the range of $250,000 to $320,000, commensurate with your experience, skills, and qualifications.
