Full-time Internal Medicine Physician in Arlington, VA

Internal Med Care Solutions is responsible for the provision of quality medical services to outpatients and hospitals in the community. The rapidly growing emergency and specialty hospital is looking to add a full-time board-certified or residency-trained Internal Medicine Physician to our well-established system.

The ideal team member will engage themselves in the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of disease, defects, or injuries and recommend or prescribe treatments for the relief or cure of physical, mental, or functional ailments or defects.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
  • No weekends

Salary:

Enjoy an annual base pay between $180,000 and $290,000, depending on experience (DOE).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and studies of medical histories.
  • Create tailored treatment programs with cutting-edge medical technology and evidence-based medicine.
  • For an accurate diagnosis and treatment choices, order and interpret diagnostic testing.
  • Manage and prescribe treatments and drugs for patient health.
  • Work together as a multidisciplinary team to provide patients with comprehensive treatment.
  • Educate patients on illness prevention and lifestyle changes.
  • Keep up-to-date medical records in accordance with the law.
  • For an up-to-date understanding of internal medicine, take part in research and continuing medical education.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Successful Completion of Residency; Board Certified or Board Eligible; Medical Staff Privileges
  • Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses
  • Drug Enforcement Agency Number
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Knowledge of Office Equipment (fax/copier)
  • Mathematical skills
  • Specialty specific skills
