Full-time Internal Medicine Physician Needed at Medical Office in Arlington, VA

Seeking a full-time Internal Medicine physician? This is your chance! Vital Health Medical Center is a multi-specialty medical group practice comprised of over 500 physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants that partner with other Health Network.

Work Schedule:

Work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional shared on-call responsibilities among the team.

Salary:

Enjoy an annual base pay between $280,000 and $320,000, depending on experience (DOE). Additionally, a full benefit package with paid malpractice insurance and a bonus.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient panel – Internal Medicine/Adult
  • Coordinates the multidisciplinary care delivered to their panel of patients, to optimize patient care
  • Reviews patient medical records to diagnose, treat, and provide care management and education to patients and families
  • Provides evidence-based and compassionate care to all patients as assigned to improve patient outcomes and increase patient satisfaction scores
  • Demonstrates patient centered and patient valued behavior
  • Maintains a collaborative environment with other referring physicians, residents, medical students, advanced practice professionals, staff, and support staff to provide quality patient care
  • Supports academic, educational and research endeavors
  • Supervises Advanced Practice Professionals
  • Attends Performance Improvement Programs and Peer Review committee meetings; and is an active participant in the process
  • Partners and communicates with acumen to build a positive brand and patient/customer experience for those who encounter JPS Health Network and Acclaim Multispecialty Group

Qualifications:

  • Must be comfortable working in a large public/county facility
  • Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge in area assigned, and competency in assessment techniques, diagnosis and treatment processes that apply to the assigned medical specialty area
  • Must have good interpersonal, verbal and oral communication skills to work effectively with other health care professionals and serve as a resource to the community
  • Must be able to demonstrate patient centered/patient valued behavior
  • Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine
  • Residency and/or Fellowship training in Internal Medicine
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible
  • Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
