Full-time Internal Medicine Physician in Federal Way, WA

Internal Wellness Specialists MD is a nonprofit system of 33 hospitals, 385 clinics, medical groups with 3,800 employed physicians and advanced practice providers, a health plan division called SelectHealth with more than 1 million members, and other health services.

We are seeking for a full-time board-certified or residency-trained Internal Medicine Physician

who are committed in improving the community health and transforming healthcare by using evidence-based best practices to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes at sustainable costs.

Work Schedule:

  • Work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional shared on-call responsibilities among the team.

Salary:

Enjoy an annual base pay between $180,000 and $290,000, depending on experience (DOE).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and studies of medical histories.
  • Create tailored treatment programs with cutting-edge medical technology and evidence-based medicine.
  • For an accurate diagnosis and treatment choices, order and interpret diagnostic testing.
  • Manage and prescribe treatments and drugs for patient health.
  • Work together as a multidisciplinary team to provide patients with comprehensive treatment.
  • Educate patients on illness prevention and lifestyle changes.
  • Keep up-to-date medical records in accordance with the law.
  • For an up-to-date understanding of internal medicine, take part in research and continuing medical education.

Qualifications:

  • Unrestricted MD/DO license
  • Current DEA certificate required prior to start date
  • BC/BE in Internal Medicine
  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Competent in problem-solving, critical thinking, and medical decision-making.
  • Interpersonal and communication abilities that are effective for connecting with patients and working with coworkers.
