Full Time Internal Medicine Physician for Delta Advance Medical Care at Aurora IL

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm,
  • Occasional on-call responsibilities shared among the team.


Salary:

$200K—$300K yearly

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide and coordinate all aspects of patient care as defined by their specialty, including: responsibility for proper maintenance of the medical record (i.e. charting); problem follow-up; and arranging for and coordinating specialty consultations.
  • Share responsibility with other JRMC providers (as designated by the Chief Medical Officer) for the following:
  • Development, maintenance, and provision of a light after-hours telephone coverage system.
  • Maintenance of the problem-oriented record keeping system to be used jointly with nurse practitioners, social workers, nutritionists, and other health care providers.
  • Maintenance and utilization of an electronic medical record.
  • Enthusiastic involvement in community activities (as part of the work week), as designated by the Chief Medical Officer. Such activities might include health fairs, presentations of health subjects at community facilities, etc.
  • Physicians at the JRMC will have overall responsibility for the provision and coordination of patient care as defined by their specialty (i.e., Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, and Family Medicine). This includes:
  • Provision of health maintenance services.
  • Diagnosis and management of disease.
  • Arranging for and coordinating specialty consultations.
  • The physician will perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree

Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.

Valid and unrestricted license in the state of practice.

Excellent clinical skills and a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine.

Proficiency in medical decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and collaborate with colleagues.
