Full-Time Internal Medicine Physician Position at Horizon Heart Pediatrics Hospital.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Occasional on-call responsibilities shared among the team

Salary:

  • $220,000 to $300,000 yearly

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide and coordinate all aspects of patient care within the scope of Internal Medicine specialty.
  • Responsible for proper maintenance of medical records, problem follow-up, and coordination of specialty consultations.
  • Collaborate with other JRMC providers in the development, maintenance, and provision of a light after-hours telephone coverage system.
  • Utilize and maintain the problem-oriented record-keeping system in conjunction with other healthcare providers.
  • Utilize and maintain an electronic medical record.
  • Actively participate in community activities as designated by the Chief Medical Officer, such as health fairs and presentations on health subjects.
  • Perform health maintenance services, diagnose and manage diseases, and coordinate specialty consultations.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
  • Valid and unrestricted license in the state of practice.
  • Excellent clinical skills and a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine.
  • Proficiency in medical decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and collaborate with colleagues.
