Exciting Job Opportunity Available for an Internal Medicine Physician (Internist)

This is a physician owned and governed, multi-specialty medical group that is a rapidly growing practice. Our compassionate team has decades of experience in geriatric care and shares a common passion for providing individualized quality care to the geriatric community. As we continue to expand our geriatric services, we have an immediate need for a Board Certified/Board Eligible physician specializing in family medicine, internal medicine, and Geriatrics.
Job Summary:
The Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to adult patients, diagnosing and treating a wide range of illnesses, and promoting overall health and wellness. A successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, a passion for education, and interest in teaching in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Work Schedule: Full-time position (Monday to Friday: 9am – 5pm)
Salary: $230,000 to $300,000 yearly plus benefits

In this role you will:
- Provide primary and specialized medical care to patients of all ages.
- Perform thorough assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic testing.
- Create and implement tailored treatment plans based on patient needs and best practices.
- Prescribe medications and therapies, ensuring accurate dosages and clear instructions.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.
- Teach patients and families about disease prevention, health promotion, and self-care strategies.
Qualifications needed:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification in Family practice or Internal Medicine.
- Valid and Active state medical license and DEA registration.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in health coaching and patient education.
- Strong knowledge of medical principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in medical record documentation and electronic health record systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
