Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity in Arboretum Medical Care Services

• 14th Street, New York, NY (between 1st & 2nd Ave)
• E 14th Street, New York, NY (between Ave A & Ave B)

Available Hours/Shifts:

• Full-Time / Part-Time options
• Monday-Thursday: 9 AM - 7 PM
• Friday: 9 AM - 6 PM
• Sunday (rotating): 10 AM - 4 PM

Pay:

• $125.00 per hour
• Expected Hours: 40 per week
• Estimated Annual Full-Time Earnings (with bonus): $280,000-$290,000
  

Scope of Work/Setting:

• Provide primary care appointments (annual exams, minor illnesses, employer-related forms, clearances, etc.)
• Conduct specialty care evaluations (Cardiology, Neurology, Sleep Medicine, Pain Management, GI, etc.)
• Outpatient setting only—no hospital rounds or on-call responsibilities

Logistics:

• EHR system: Athena Health (similar to EPIC)
• No psych or pain medication management
• Full support from pharmacy, records, and authorization teams
• Clinical staff (MA/scribes) handle patient history, ROS, and routine tests before physician sees the patient
• Focus on examination and A&P

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: $125/hour (1099)

Requirements:

• Education: Doctorate (Required)
• Experience: 2 years in Internal Medicine (Preferred)
• Language Skills: Spanish and/or Russian (Preferred)

Licenses/Certifications (Preferred):

• NYS Physician License
• Internal Medicine Board Certification
• Medicaid/Medicare number
• Healthfirst ID
• Active hospital privileges in NYC

Relocation:

• Required relocation to New York, NY 10003 before starting work

Work Location:

• In-person in New York City
