Full-time Internal Medicine Physician Needed
Schedule:
Join our dedicated medical practice as an Internal Medicine Physician, where you will play a key role in patient care. You will conduct detailed assessments, design personalized treatment plans, and manage various health conditions. With a strong focus on patient education and preventive strategies, you will empower patients to take an active role in their health. Your efforts will help promote a culture of wellness and proactive health management in our community.
Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 9am-7pm
- Friday: 9am-6pm
- Sunday (rotations): 10am-4pm
- $280,000 - $290,000 per year, plus health insurance.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess pain levels, medical history, and psychosocial factors influencing their pain.
- Manage primary care appointments, including new visits and follow-ups for annual exams, common illnesses, STDs, employer-related forms, and clearances.
- Perform initial evaluations for specialty care referrals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and specialty referrals.
- Educate patients on pain management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and preventative care to enhance their overall health and well-being.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and ensure clear communication with both patients and other healthcare providers.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Valid medical license to practice in the New York state where the position is located
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine (or board eligibility) from a recognized medical board.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to manage complex medical conditions, including chronic diseases.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
