Exciting Job Opportunity Available for an Internal Medicine Physician (Internist)

The Internal Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive medical care for adult patients, focusing on diagnosing, treating a variety of illnesses, and promoting health and wellness. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal communication skills, a passion for education, and an interest in teaching in both inpatient and outpatient environments.

Work Schedule: Full-time position (Monday to Friday: 9am – 5pm)

Salary: $280,000 to $290,000 yearly plus benefits

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary and specialized medical care to patients of all ages.
  • Perform thorough assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic testing.
  • Create and implement tailored treatment plans based on patient needs and best practices.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies, ensuring accurate dosages and clear instructions.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.
  • Teach patients and families about disease prevention, health promotion, and self-care strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification in Family practice or Internal Medicine.
  • Valid and Active state medical license and DEA registration.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in health coaching and patient education.
  • Strong knowledge of medical principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in medical record documentation and electronic health record systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
