Full-time Family Practice Physician Needed
We are excited to welcome a new Family Practice Physician to our compassionate and innovative team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on both prevention and treatment of diseases. Your role will involve conducting thorough assessments, diagnosing conditions, and implementing effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals will be key to ensuring holistic patient care.
Salary: $280k a year plus Health Insurance, Paid Malpractice insurance plus bonuses based on performance
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 9-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages, including preventive care, routine check-ups, and management of chronic diseases.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Educate patients and their families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and management strategies for chronic illnesses, fostering informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, specialists, and support staff to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care, including referrals and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) for all patient interactions, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs to promote health awareness, disease prevention, and overall wellness in the community.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in New York state.
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a combined specialty, ensuring adherence to professional standards and expertise in patient care. DOT certification preferred.
- DEA number and NPI required.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a family practice or internal medicine setting
- Experience in occupational health, workplace safety, or a related area preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
