Position: Internal Medicine Physician
Location: Rotterdam Junction, New York
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 per year + benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team in New York. In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical care to adult patients, focusing on disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a broad range of conditions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient-centered care in a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide preventive care and wellness education to promote long-term patient health.
  • Stay current with advancements in internal medicine practices and standards of care.

Qualifications:

  • Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • License: Valid and unrestricted New York State medical license.
  • Certification: Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
  • Experience: Prior experience in internal medicine or primary care preferred.
  • Credentialed in Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial Insurances
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
