Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 per year + benefits

About the Role:

We are looking for an outstanding primary care clinician (Internal medicine) with experience treating adults in an outpatient setting who has or can obtain a Florida State License. We need physicians who are clinically oriented and eager to be involved in academics, teaching, and clinical research. The candidate should have interest and experience in working with a population that has several economic, health, and educational disparities.
As an Internal Medicine Physician, you will manage a caseload of approximately 15-25 patients daily, focusing on primary care and preventive health services. This is an outpatient position with no in-patient responsibilities, allowing you to focus fully on patient care and preventive health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivers primary care through both traditional face-to-face visits and non-visit-based interactions (e.g. phone, digital messaging, and video chat) to a physician-specific population of practice members
  • Uses outstanding communication skills to assist patients in understanding diagnostic tests and treatments, help patients navigate all aspects of care, and facilitate patient preparation for specialty medical appointments.
  • Initiates timely referrals to specialty services and ensures close, regular bi-directional communication with specialists to promote continuity of care.
  • Provides concierge-level service at all times, with 24/7 availability by phone to a dedicated patient panel and advocacy for patients within the broader health care system.
  • Carries out other appropriate professional duties when necessary, including liaison with outside medical consultants, hospitalists, and emergency room providers to ensure appropriateness, timeliness and continuity of care and an excellent patient experience.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Active and unrestricted Florida medical license
  • DEA certification
  • Accredited in Medicare, Medicaid, and other commercial Insurances
  • Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
