Hiring Full-Time Internal Medicine Physician
Position: Internist (Internal Medicine Physician)
Location: Glendale, Arizona
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 per year + benefits

About the Role:
Internal Medicine Physicians (internists) coordinate a course of treatment for patients with a variety of diseases (with significant experience in the subspecialties of endocrinology, rheumatology or infectious diseases and neurology), and provide preventative care health maintenance strategies while working with an inter-disciplinary team of medical assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dieticians, surgeons, specialists, pathologists and pharmacists. The physician will act as an expert in disease management and prevention for adult patients 18 years or older.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease.
- Provide preventive care services, including health screenings, immunizations, and wellness counseling.
- Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and support staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) to document patient visits, treatment plans, and progress accurately.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in internal medicine to provide evidence-based care.
- Educate patients on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and treatment adherence.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Current and unrestricted Arizona medical license.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine.
- Experience in outpatient clinical settings preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
- Proficiency in EHR systems and medical documentation.
