Hiring Full-Time Internal Medicine Physician

Position: Internist (Internal Medicine Physician)
Location: Mount Vernon, New York
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 per year + benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking Internal Medicine physicians to join our thriving, well-established primary care practices located throughout New York. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of highly experienced physicians and advanced practice providers in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide necessary patient education on treatment options, prevention, and self-care.
  • Provide preventive care services such as screenings, immunizations, wellness exams, and health education, helping patients maintain healthy lifestyles.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care for patients.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, lifestyle changes, and disease management to support optimal health outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations and organization policies, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other relevant standards.
  • Provide follow-up care, monitor treatment progress, and adjust plans as necessary to achieve desired health outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine (ABIM or equivalent).
  • Valid medical license to practice in New York.
  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
  • BLS and ACLS certification (if applicable).
