Job Type:

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday business hours, with flexibility for occasional weekend consultations.
- On-call duties shared among the neurology team to ensure patient care continuity.
Job Setting:
Outpatient medical center with an emphasis on neurology care.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough patient assessments, including detailed medical history reviews, neurological examinations, and appropriate diagnostic tests.
- Diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological conditions, including epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, neuropathies, and neurodegenerative diseases.
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, which may include medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to other specialists when necessary.
- Performing and interpreting neurophysiological tests, such as electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies, and evoked potentials.
- Providing comprehensive care to patients with acute neurological conditions, including stroke management, administration of thrombolytic therapy, and post-stroke rehabilitation planning.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure integrated care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participating in clinical research, teaching programs, and continuing medical education activities to stay updated on the latest advancements in neurology.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency program in neurology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
- Board certification or eligibility in Neurology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or equivalent certifying organization.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the state.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological conditions, including both common and rare disorders.
- Experience in performing and interpreting neurophysiological tests, such as EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and evoked potentials.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Dedication to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in the field of neurology.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a highly competitive salary range of $300,000 to $400,000 per year based on experience, qualifications, and expertise. The specific salary offered will be discussed during the interview process.
