Neurologist Opportunity – Flexible Full-Time or Part-Time Schedule

A well-established primary and specialty care organization, located in the heart of Manhattan, invites a talented Neurologist to join our team. This opportunity offers a supportive, collaborative environment with a focus on delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule Options: Full-Time (40 hours/week) or Part-Time (24 hours/week)
• Shifts:
  • Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Sunday (rotations): 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Neurology sessions in an outpatient setting
• No hospital follow-ups or on-call responsibilities
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, with clinical staff assisting with patient engagement and routine charting
• Focus on patient exams and assessment

Requirements:

• MD/DO Degree
• Board-Certified in Neurology
• Active NYS Medical License
• Preferred: Credentialing in Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial Insurances

Clinical Environment:

• EHR System: Athena Health (similar to EPIC)
• No psych or pain medication management required
• Staff support for pharmacy, records, and authorization
• Clinical staff completes initial patient engagement and charting, allowing the provider to focus on exams and assessments

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay: $200/hr (1099). Estimated Annual Full-Time Earnings (with bonus): $400,000 - $420,000

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years in Neurology (preferred)
• Languages: Spanish and/or Russian (preferred)
• Certifications: Medicaid/Medicare number, Healthfirst ID, Active hospital privileges in NYC (preferred)
• Licensure: NYS Physician License (required), ABPN Board Certification (preferred)
