Neurologist Opportunity – Full-Time or Part-Time Schedule in Manhattan
A well-established primary and specialty care organization in the heart of Manhattan is seeking a talented Neurologist to join our outpatient team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment while maintaining an excellent work-life balance.
Position Highlights
- Flexible Schedule: Choose between full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (24 hours/week).
- Shifts:
- Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Rotational Sundays: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- No On-Call or Hospital Responsibilities: Focus exclusively on outpatient care.
- Team Support: Clinical staff handle patient engagement, routine charting, pharmacy coordination, and authorizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide neurology consultations in an outpatient setting.
- Perform patient exams and assessments without the need for psych or pain medication management.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree.
- Board-certified in Neurology.
- Active New York State Medical License.
- Preferred: Credentialing with Medicaid, Medicare, and major commercial insurers.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $200/hour (1099 contract).
- Full-time annual earnings: $400,000–$420,000, including performance-based bonuses.

Technology and Clinical Environment:
- Athena Health EHR system (similar to EPIC).
- Dedicated administrative and clinical support for efficient workflow.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two or more years of experience in Neurology.
- Proficiency in Spanish and/or Russian.
- Credentialing with Medicaid/Medicare, Healthfirst ID, or active hospital privileges in NYC.
Location:
- New York, NY 10003 (in-person role).
- Relocation to NYC required before starting.
