Full-time Neurologist in Kent, Washington

Our team is looking for a trained Neurologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders, primarily through electromyography.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $400,000 per year + benefits

Job Duties:

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological conditions, including strokes, seizures, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and other neurological disorders
  • Develop personalized treatment plans, which may include medication, physical therapy, or other therapies
  • Conduct thorough neurological examinations, including testing cognitive functions, muscle strength, sensation, reflexes, coordination, and balance
  • Counsel patients or others on the background of neurological disorders including risk factors, or genetic or environmental concerns
  • Keeping up-to-date with neurological developments, treatments, and medication
  • Performing specialized treatments such as sleep disorders, neuroimmunology, neuro-oncology, behavioral neurology, and neurogenetics
  • Performing and interpreting lumbar punctures, electroencephalography, electromyography, and nerve conduction velocity tests

Requirements:

  • Current state Physician License
  • Current WA DEA certificate
  • Board-certified or board-eligible neurologist
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy and neurological systems
  • Comfortable with real-time EMR documentation and managing a daily patient load
