Full-time OB/GYN Needed in Aria Birth & Women’s Care
Aria Birth & Women’s Care is a referral center for all-trimester abortion and ultrasound-guided procedures, including for abnormal or high-risk pregnancies, and for people with complex medical situations who may have difficulty accessing care. We provide the highest level of medical care and a private experience focused on the individual needs of each patient. We seek an outstanding obstetrician-gynecologist to provide abortion care in all trimesters. This person will provide high-quality patient care, excellent customer service, ensure efficient patient flow, ensure a safe clinic environment, and work collaboratively with all team members to create a great workplace. The obstetrician-gynecologist will work 12-24 weeks per year, as either 3-day or 4-day clinical weeks.

The obstetrician-gynecologist will work 12-24 weeks per year, as either 3-day or 4-day clinical weeks.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain the highest level of patient-centered care
- Meet productivity goals for physician staff
- Meet patient satisfaction goals for physician staff
- Follow DuPont Clinic protocols
- Perform uterine aspiration with both manual and electric suction sources
- Perform dilation and evacuation procedures
- Learn and perform DuPont induction-evacuation procedures
- Evaluate patients prior to procedures
- Document appropriately
- Participate in team emergency drills, training, and meetings
- Communicate effectively with all members of the patient-care team
- Assist with the training and onboarding of new staff as needed
- Actively promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible obstetrician-gynecologist required
- Complex Family Planning board eligible or board certified preferred
- Licensed in the state or license in the process
- Abortion experience to at least 23 weeks
- Willingness to provide abortion care to 32 weeks
- Excellent ultrasound skills
- Curiosity and a desire to learn
- Flexibility with scheduling
- Commitment to improving the patient experience of care
- Strong commitment to a person's bodily autonomy and principles of reproductive justice
- Native speakers of the following languages: Spanish, Arabic, Amharic, Mandarin, Vietnamese, French, and Portuguese (highly preferred)
- Knowledge of the political landscape involving abortion care (preferred)
- Previous experience in abortion care or reproductive health (strongly preferred)
Physical and Work Environment
- Ability to work at least 12 weeks per year, either 3-day or 4-day weeks. Four-day weeks are typically Monday to Thursday, but occasionally Tuesday-Friday if there is a Monday holiday. Three-day weeks are Wednesday-Friday currently.
- Ability to work nights during patient care weeks, as needed to accommodate patient needs
- Ability to respond quickly to patient needs and work at a fast pace
- Will be exposed to the following hazards on a frequent basis: mechanical, electrical, chemical, blood, and body fluids. Will be required to wear protective clothing and equipment as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs with a second person present.
- Ability to work under stress and handle multiple project deadlines.
