We are seeking a full-time dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician with specialized training and expertise in general obstetrics to join our healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive prenatal, antenatal, and postpartum care to pregnant patients, ensuring the well-being of both mother and baby. As a primary care physician, you will play a vital role in guiding patients through their pregnancy journey, delivering high-quality medical care, and offering education and support.

Salary: $270,000 to $510,000 yearly

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time work schedule during regular business hours,
  • Typically, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Due to the nature of obstetric care, occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to accommodate patient needs, emergencies, or deliveries.
  • The specific work schedule will be discussed during the interview process and can be tailored to accommodate work-life balance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide thorough prenatal assessments, screenings, and diagnostic tests to monitor the health and development of pregnant patients and their unborn babies.
  • Offer personalized guidance and education to pregnant patients regarding nutrition, exercise, childbirth preparation, and overall wellness.
  • Diagnose and manage medical conditions that may arise during pregnancy, such as gestational diabetes, hypertension, and other complications.
  • Collaborate with obstetric specialists to monitor labor progression, assess fetal well-being, and make informed decisions regarding delivery methods.
  • Provide postpartum assessments, address concerns, and guide patients through the physical and emotional changes following childbirth.
  • Offer compassionate counseling to address patients' questions, concerns, and emotional needs related to pregnancy, childbirth, and parenthood.
  • Ultrasound and Imaging: Perform and interpret ultrasounds and imaging tests to monitor fetal growth and development, ensuring early detection of any abnormalities.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including obstetricians, midwives, nurses, and lactation consultants, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) for pregnant patients, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Stay current with the latest obstetric guidelines, medical advancements, and best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Adhere to ethical principles and medical standards while providing patient-centered care in line with established protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • State medical license in good standing.
  • Completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Subspecialty training or fellowship in general obstetrics is preferred.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and proficiency in obstetric procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
