Our premier rehabilitation center is actively seeking talented and dedicated Physiatrists to join our dynamic team in providing comprehensive care to individuals with physical disabilities and injuries.

We are committed to helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. Our rehab center offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, with a focus on personalized treatment plans and evidence-based interventions. We provide compassionate care to individuals with a wide range of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain.

Salary:

$300,000 to $400,000 per year

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time position, working approximately 40 hours per week.
  • Typical clinic hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • On-call responsibilities may be required on a rotational basis to provide coverage for emergencies or urgent patient needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations, to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Coordinate and oversee multidisciplinary rehabilitation programs, collaborating closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Prescribe and administer appropriate medications, injections, and other medical interventions to manage pain and promote functional recovery.
  • Perform electrodiagnostic studies, such as nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG), to assess nerve and muscle function.
  • Provide expert consultation and guidance to patients and their families, explaining treatment options, expected outcomes, and long-term management strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress through regular follow-up visits, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize rehabilitation potential.
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining clear communication with the healthcare team.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical medicine and rehabilitation through continuing education and professional development activities.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and academic activities to contribute to the advancement of the field.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
  • Board certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a Physiatrist.
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in the evaluation and management of various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
