Full-Time PM&R Physician (MD/DO) Opportunity at Oceanside Healthcare Solutions

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role will focus on providing outpatient rehabilitation services that enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities, improving their independence in daily living and employment through cutting-edge education, evidence-based research, and patient-centered care.

Position Overview: We are seeking a Full-Time Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician (MD/DO) to join our team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation services in an outpatient setting.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts
  • Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough patient evaluations, assessing functional capabilities and rehabilitation needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized rehabilitation treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage medications based on patient-specific needs and diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Utilize diagnostic imaging tools such as MRI, CT, and X-ray to guide clinical decision-making.
  • Document all patient interactions, progress, and treatment plans using electronic health records (EHR), including Epic.
  • Contribute to research projects and clinical initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship and education to residents, medical students, and other trainees as part of our academic mission.

Required Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree with board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
  • A proven track record of working in or commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment for faculty, staff, and students, as required by our partnership with VCU.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent clinical and academic credentials.
  • Experience in establishing and leading clinical initiatives.

Compensation:

  • $300,000–$400,000 annually, based on experience.
