Full-Time Pain Management Physician – Monterey, California

Position: Family Medicine Physician

Location: Monterey, California (Outpatient Setting)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $300,000 per year + benefits

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible Scheduling Available)

Looking to hire a board-certified Pain Management Physician to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in California. In this full-time role, you will specialize in diagnosing, treating, and managing chronic and acute pain conditions, helping patients improve their quality of life. You will collaborate with other specialists to develop comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans and deliver exceptional patient care in a state-of-the-art facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes, respiratory disorders, and musculoskeletal issues
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Prescribe and manage medications, therapies, and preventive interventions in line with best practices
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and follow-up care, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Promote preventive health strategies, including regular screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and wellness practices
  • Work closely with specialists, nurses, and support staff to provide coordinated and holistic patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with healthcare regulations

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), or Neurology.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in California.
  • DEA certification and valid NPI.
  • Proven experience in interventional pain management procedures.
  • Strong clinical expertise in multimodal pain therapies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
