Position: Internal Medicine Physician
Location: Elmira, New York
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 per year + benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pain Management Physician to join our healthcare team in New York. In this role, you will specialize in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic pain conditions through a combination of interventional procedures, medication management, and personalized care plans. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient quality of life and promote long-term pain relief.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with chronic and acute pain conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized pain management plans, including pharmacologic and interventional treatments.
  • Perform minimally invasive procedures such as epidural injections, nerve blocks, and spinal cord stimulator trials.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, psychologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure optimal pain relief.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Educate patients and their families on pain management strategies and overall wellness.

Qualifications:

  • Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • License: Valid and unrestricted New York State medical license
  • Certification: Board certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine or Anesthesiology, Neurology, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) with a subspecialty in Pain Medicine
  • Experience: Previous experience in pain management or interventional pain procedures preferred
  • Credentialed in Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial Insurances
  • Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
