Position: Internal Medicine Physician
Location: Wheaton, Illinois
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 per year + benefits
About the Role:
We are seeking a board-certified Pain Management Physician to join our outpatient clinic in Illinois. In this role, you will diagnose, treat, and manage chronic and acute pain conditions using a multidisciplinary approach. You will collaborate with a team of physicians, physical therapists, and healthcare professionals to deliver personalized and effective pain relief solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification in Pain Medicine or Anesthesiology with a subspecialty in Pain Management.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Illinois.
- Fellowship training in Pain Management preferred.
- 1+ years of clinical experience in pain management or related field preferred (newly board-certified physicians are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in interventional pain procedures, including injections, blocks, and minimally invasive treatments.
- Strong communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation
Qualifications:
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- License: Valid and unrestricted New York State medical license
- Certification: Board certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine or Anesthesiology, Neurology, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) with a subspecialty in Pain Medicine
- Experience: Previous experience in pain management or interventional pain procedures preferred
- Credentialed in Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial Insurances
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
