Position: Pain Management Physician
Location: Marco Island, Florida
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 per year + benefits

As a Pain Management Physician, you will play a crucial role in helping patients manage their pain and improve their quality of life. Your expertise in pain management techniques and compassionate patient care will make a significant impact on the well-being of individuals experiencing chronic or acute pain. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations, including physical exams and patient history assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat chronic and acute pain conditions, such as neuropathic, musculoskeletal, and post-surgical pain.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication management, physical therapy referrals, and interventional procedures.
  • Administer pain-relief interventions such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, joint injections, and trigger point therapy.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists, physical therapists, and mental health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients on pain management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Stay current with advancements in pain management through continuing education.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine or Anesthesiology with a Pain Medicine fellowship
  • Proficiency in various pain management techniques, including interventional procedures and medication management
  • Experience in patient care and assessment in the field of pain management
  • Knowledge of coding and documentation requirements for accurate billing and reimbursement
  • Familiarity with occupational health regulations and guidelines
