About the Role:
We are actively looking for a Pain Management Specialist who evaluates pain and treats a wide range of pain problems. The pain management Doctor treats chronic and sudden pain ailments such as long-lasting, chronic, pain such as low back pain and neck pain. As a Pain Management Physician, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain control of their lives by managing and alleviating pain.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive pain management services for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
- Conduct thorough patient consultations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans
- Perform interventional procedures such as nerve blocks, epidurals, joint injections, and other pain relief techniques
- Prescribe and manage medication regimens in accordance with best practices and patient safety guidelines
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure a holistic approach to pain management
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Educate patients on pain management techniques, rehabilitation strategies, and self-care methods
Qualifications:
- Board certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine or Anesthesiology with a Pain Medicine fellowship
- Proficiency in interventional pain management techniques and medication management
- Experience in patient care, diagnosis, and treatment planning for pain-related conditions
- Strong understanding of coding and documentation requirements for accurate billing and reimbursement
- Familiarity with occupational health regulations and guidelines related to pain management
- Post-residency experience in Pain Medicine is preferred
