Position: Internal Medicine Physician
Location: Apache Junction, Arizona
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 per year + benefits

About the Role:

We are in search of a Interventional Pain Management Specialists which differs from other pain management specialists in that they emphasize the importance of a precise diagnosis and immediate treatment by using a variety of treatments to find the fastest and most effective way to eliminate pain for each patient

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
  • Develop and implement personalized pain management plans, utilizing both interventional and non-interventional techniques.
  • Perform minimally invasive procedures, such as nerve blocks, joint injections, epidural steroid injections, and trigger point therapy.
  • Prescribe and monitor medication regimens in accordance with best practices and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver multidisciplinary care.
  • Educate patients on pain management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and rehabilitation exercises.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress reports, and patient outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Stay current with advancements in pain management techniques and emerging treatments.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Current and unrestricted Arizona medical license.
  • Board certification in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
  • Experience in outpatient pain management or interventional procedures preferred.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and medical documentation.
  • Strong diagnostic and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
