Hiring Full-Time Pain Management Physician

Position: Pain Management Physician
Location: Yerington, Nevada
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 per year + benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Pain Management Physician to join our healthcare team. As a Pain Management Physician, you will lead the diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex pain conditions, using a combination of interventional procedures, pharmacological treatments, and non-invasive therapies. You will collaborate with physical therapists, psychologists, and other specialists to deliver integrated, holistic care that addresses both the physical and emotional aspects of pain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic testing (e.g., imaging, EMG).
  • Design and implement customized pain management plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and conditions.
  • Prescribe and oversee pharmacological treatments, ensuring safe and effective medication management.
  • Integrate physical therapy, psychological support, and lifestyle modifications into treatment plans.
  • Provide patient education on pain management strategies, medication adherence, and wellness practices.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, behavioral health specialists, and referring physicians to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Stay current with advancements in pain medicine and emerging treatments through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Current and unrestricted Nevada medical license.
  • Board certification in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), or Neurology.
  • Experience in interventional pain management and multimodal treatment approaches.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and meticulous medical documentation.
  • Strong diagnostic, procedural, and communication skills with a patient-first mindset.
