Job Title: Pain Management Physician – Hospital Setting (Newnan, Georgia)
We are currently seeking a dedicated Pain Management Physician to join our multidisciplinary team in the Pain Management Department. If you are passionate about helping patients manage chronic pain and improve their overall well-being, we invite you to be a part of our team.
You will work closely with other medical professionals to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at reducing pain and enhancing the quality of life for your patients. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative hospital setting with access to the latest technologies and resources in pain management.
Job Type: Full Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $400,000 per year + benefits
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Develop individualized pain management plans, utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, including medication management, physical therapy, interventional procedures, and psychological support.
- Perform interventional pain management procedures, including injections, nerve blocks, and other minimally invasive techniques.
- Collaborate with other physicians, therapists, and healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients on pain management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Stay current with the latest advances in pain management and contribute to the development of departmental best practices.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Current, active, and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Georgia.
- Experience with interventional and non-interventional techniques
- Strong diagnostic, communication, and procedural skills
- Passion for team-based care and improving the quality of life for patients
- Commitment to compassionate, ethical, and culturally responsive care
- Experience with medication management and opioid stewardship is highly valued
