Job Title: Pain Management Physician Opportunity – Hospital Setting (Haverford, Pennsylvania )

As a Pain Management Physician in our hospital, you’ll deliver comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with acute, subacute, and chronic pain syndromes. Working alongside anesthesiologists, neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, rehabilitation specialists, behavioral health providers, and primary care, you’ll play a central role in our integrated pain management program.

This role combines interventional procedures, medication management, and non-opioid alternatives, offering flexibility for you to shape the practice to your strengths and interests.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $400,000 per year + benefits

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced assessment and management for patients with acute and chronic pain syndromes.
  • Perform interventional procedures such as epidural injections, facet blocks, joint injections, spinal cord stimulator trials, sympathetic nerve blocks, and radiofrequency ablation.
  • Create individualized, evidence-based care plans using multimodal pain management strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, neurologists, surgeons, rehabilitation specialists, primary care physicians, behavioral health providers, and physical therapists.
  • Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, functional goals, and preventive measures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical pathway development, and education of medical trainees (optional).

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Current, active, and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Maryland.
  • Experience with interventional and non-interventional techniques
  • Strong diagnostic, communication, and procedural skills
  • Passion for team-based care and improving the quality of life for patients
  • Commitment to compassionate, ethical, and culturally responsive care
  • Experience with medication management and opioid stewardship is highly valued
