Full Time Pediatrician Wanted

American Medical is hiring for a Full Time B/C or B/E Pediatrician for our Pediatric Urgent Care practice located in San Francisco, CA.

American Medical has been in business since 2012 and we are growing. Due to patient demand, we are hiring for more providers.

Come join our 4 provider team made up of 2 MDs, 1 PA and 1 PNP.

We have a supportive ancillary staff made up of 7 MAs, 2 RNs and 2 techs.

Our EMR system is Practice Fusion. We offer paid training on our EMR/EHR system.

Compensation:

Salary range is $275,000-$300,000 per year DOE plus full benefits including 100% paid malpractice insurance. Profit Sharing available after the 2nd year.

Work Schedule:

Hours are M to F 9 am-7 pm MST. Can also work (4) 10s or (3) 12 hour shifts.

Patient Volume:

  • You can expect to see about 40 patients a day.
  • We have medical scribes who will assist you.

Job Qualifications:

  • B/C or B/E in Pediatrics
  • MD or DO Degree
  • Completed a residency in Pediatrics at an American University
  • NPI# & CAQH#
  • Must have a DEA#
  • Credentialed with major insurance panels preferred i.e. United, BC/BS, Cigna
  • No Board actions and no malpractice history

Job Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and treating illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries.
  • Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Collecting, recording, and maintaining patients' information and histories.
  • Prescribing and administering treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care.
  • Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients and family members.
  • Monitoring patients' conditions and progress.
  • Directing, coordinating, consulting with, and referring patients to nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
  • Advising patients, parents, and guardians on diets, activities, hygiene, and disease prevention.
  • Conducting research and remaining up to date on current trends, discoveries, and developments in the field.
  • Treat children and adolescents at our urgent care center
  • Complete annual physicals
  • Treat scrapes, burns, rashes, runny noses, whooping cough, earaches, common colds, the flu, Covid etc
