Full-time Pulmonologist Needed for Respiratory Specialty Clinic in El Paso, TX

We are a respiratory specialty clinic dedicated to providing exceptional respiratory care to our patients. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Pulmonologist to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals.

We provide comprehensive respiratory care services across a wide range of specialties, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung cancer, sleep disorders, and interstitial lung diseases. Our multidisciplinary team of pulmonologists, respiratory therapists, and support staff work collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient care.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Some weekend and on-call responsibilities may be required to ensure 24/7 coverage for our patients.

Salary:

$300,000 to $400,000 per year, plus bonuses

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosis and management of respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, lung cancer, and interstitial lung diseases.
  • Evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, such as sleep apnea and insomnia.
  • Performance and interpretation of pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Collaboration with other specialists, such as allergists, thoracic surgeons, and oncologists, to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex respiratory conditions.
  • Provision of evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, including medication management, pulmonary rehabilitation, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Participation in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education to stay at the forefront of advancements in pulmonology.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor’s degree in Medicine (MD) or Doctor’s degree in Osteopathic Medicine
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary Medicine.
  • Active state medical license and ability to practice medicine in the desired location.
  • Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of respiratory conditions.
  • Proficiency in performing and interpreting pulmonary function tests and bronchoscopy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Commitment to providing patient-centered care with a focus on improving patient outcomes.
