Full-time and Part-time Pediatricians Needed at Budding Health Pediatrics in Shawnee, KS
Budding Health Pediatrics is seeking skilled and caring Pediatricians to join the team at our thriving clinic. We are passionate about providing the best possible care for our clients and believe that Pediatric care is an integral part of an overall wellness plan.
You will be evaluating patients, discussing health concerns, administering treatment, and providing wellness advice. You should have a deep knowledge of the various areas of Pediatrics and the ability to create customized treatment plans. Schedule:
8 am-5 pm M-F, occasional weekends, and evenings
Responsibilities:
- Consult with patients to obtain their medical history and the reason for their visit.
- Perform patient assessments and administer appropriate treatment.
- Recommend additional wellness treatments.
- Create comprehensive wellness plans that focus on each individual’s specific needs.
- Promote a healthy lifestyle with advice on sleep, exercise, and diet.
- Maintain detailed records of patient information.
- Refer to specialists or other professionals as needed.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Pediatrics.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license.
- 2+ years of experience in pediatric medicine, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in conducting pediatric patient assessments and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Extensive knowledge of various areas of Pediatrics, including but not limited to general pediatrics, neonatology, pediatric cardiology, and pediatric neurology.
- Strong understanding of growth and development milestones for children of different age groups.
- Ability to create customized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with patients, parents, and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Detail-oriented and organized, ensuring accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the comprehensive care of pediatric patients.
- Dedication to staying updated with the latest advancements in pediatric medicine and evidence-based practices through continuing education and professional development.
