In the world of healthcare, Pediatrician is the heart of caring for our younger generation, covering the broad spectrum of medical conditions unique to children. A general pediatrician specializes in treating minor injuries, common illnesses, and certain infectious diseases that impact the youth. Their responsibilities range from taking detailed medical histories and conducting thorough examinations to ordering essential medical tests and devising comprehensive treatment plans for young patients. In the realm of pediatric care, they are the dedicated guardians of children's health, ensuring a foundation of well-being for the future.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough examinations on newborns and young children to check and record their health and normal physical development
• Examining sick children and reaching an informed diagnosis
• Prescribing medications and giving detailed instructions for administration
• Examination of patients, formulation differential diagnostic plans, defines and orders required diagnostic testing.
• Interpretation of examination findings and test results, and implementation of treatment plans.
• Determines need for consultation and assists in medical care and treatment provided at the direction of other specialists.
• Approving/disapproving subspecialty referrals.
• Answering patient telephone consults with the assistance of clinic staff.
  

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.).
• Proven experience as a pediatrician
• In depth knowledge of children epidemiology and infectious diseases
• Exquisite knowledge of diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation principles and techniques
• Up to speed knowledge of drugs/medication appropriate for children and their side-effects
• Familiarity with traditional and web-based prescription systems
• Active listener, patient and calm
• Outstanding diagnostic and problem solving abilities
• Excellent communications skills
  
• Valid license to practice medicine
  

Salary:

• Competitive salary ranging from $220,000 to $300,000 per year.
