Looking For Full Time Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Decker Healthcare Services

Responsibilities:
- Assesses and monitors the medical needs of patients/significant others.
- Provides quality medical services to patients in a cost effective, appropriate manner and ensures coverage of case load at all times.
- Provides input into the development of policies and procedures as they related to medical practice and quality patient care.
- Provides oversight of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners and others providing delegated services to patients.
- Evaluates patients'/significant others'/staff educational needs and develops and implements appropriate teaching strategies or delegates to appropriate resources.
- Documents in a manner consistent with regulatory standards.
- Communicates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Acts as a patient/family advocate.
- Participates in ongoing process improvement activities through the development/application of clinical paths, process improvement and other related activities.
Qualifications:
- Board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Meets the qualifications to practice medicine in the State, including DEA license.
- Clinical proficiency in area of medical specialty.
- Demonstrated expertise in the management of patients with complex chronic conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to build the trust and respect of patients, staff, colleagues, and external contacts.
- Ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.
Salary:
$400,000-$600,000 a year.
