Looking For Full Time Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R MD) in Vitality Medical Care Center

Vitality Medical Care Center is to provide and advance the patient care, research and teaching missions through direct patient care in the clinic, the conduct of clinical research, and training of residents, medical students and other trainees. Provides outpatient general rehabilitation.

With the goal of improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities by maximizing independence in living skills and employment activities through innovative education, evidence-based research, and outcome-focused patient care.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and administer appropriate medications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Utilize imaging equipment such as MRI/CT/X-ray scanners for diagnosis
• Document patient interactions using electronic health records like Epic

Required Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree or equivalent and board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
• Effective oral and written communication and leadership skills
• Strong clinical and academic credentials
• Demonstrated ability to establish clinical initiatives

Salary:

$300,000-$400,000 per year.
