Job Duties:
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine accurate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage appropriate psychotropic medications, while ensuring close monitoring and follow-up with patients.
- Provide ongoing psychiatric treatment and therapy to patients, implementing evidence-based interventions and modalities.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, considering the biological, psychological, and social aspects of each patient's condition.
- Participate in regular case conferences and treatment team meetings to discuss patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards.
- Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in psychiatric care through ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Job Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice Psychiatry in the state.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders across different age groups.
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to effectively manage medication regimens.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and the treatment team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, displaying resilience and adaptability.
