Job Duties:
Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine accurate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe and manage appropriate psychotropic medications, while ensuring close monitoring and follow-up with patients.
Provide ongoing psychiatric treatment and therapy to patients, implementing evidence-based interventions and modalities.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, considering the biological, psychological, and social aspects of each patient's condition.
Participate in regular case conferences and treatment team meetings to discuss patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans when necessary.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards.
Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in psychiatric care through ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Job Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
Board certification in Psychiatry.
Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice Psychiatry in the state.
Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders across different age groups.
Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to effectively manage medication regimens.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and the treatment team.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, displaying resilience and adaptability.
Dedication to providing patient-centered care with compassion, empathy, and respect.
