Pulmonologist Opportunity – Join Our Collaborative Team!

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Pulmonologist to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive outpatient consultations, including assessments, diagnostics, and treatments for patients with various pulmonary conditions.

Role Highlights:

As a Pulmonologist, you will conduct thorough evaluations, perform diagnostic tests, and make accurate diagnoses of pulmonary conditions. You will design and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at improving patient outcomes and managing chronic conditions effectively. Additionally, you will work closely with primary care providers and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative, team-based model to discuss patient progress and optimize care strategies for the best possible results.

Salary: $400k a year plus Health Insurance, Paid Malpractice insurance plus bonuses based on performance

Duties:
- Diagnose and treat respiratory system disorders such as asthma, bronchitis, COPD, and lung cancer
- Perform diagnostic tests including pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, and thoracentesis
- Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Educate patients on managing respiratory conditions and preventive measures
- Stay current with advancements in pulmonology and contribute to research initiatives

Experience:
- Board certification in Pulmonary Medicine
- Experience in hospital-based pulmonology practice
- Proficiency in treating a wide range of pulmonary conditions including acute pain management
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems
- Knowledge of collaborating with specialties such as Gastroenterology, Neurology, Primary Care, Ob/Gyn, and Internal Medicine
- Strong background in health coaching and patient education
