Join one of the nation's leading healthcare organizations, specializing in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and specialty medicine. We are offering a full-time Physician position for outpatient care in a thriving independent community hospital.

As a vital member of our team, you will deliver top-notch medical care, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and administer treatments to our valued patients. Your responsibilities will extend to coordinating discharge planning with case management, collaborating on initiatives to enhance cost-effectiveness and patient care quality, and accepting patient referrals from other physicians.

Your expertise will be crucial as a consulting physician for patients requiring hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, addressing the diverse needs of patients, medical staff, and the hospital.

SCHEDULE:

  • Regular business hours with occasional on-call and weekend duties.
  • Flexible scheduling options available to ensure work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
  • Coordinate discharge planning with case management.
  • Recommend and participate in efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and the quality of care provided to patients.
  • Accept patient referrals from other physicians and act as a consulting physician for patients requiring hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses.
  • Provide thorough documentation meeting insurance company requirements and promptly appeal all denials.
  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations for specialty, which may include on-call schedules.

Requirements:

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System.
  • DEA number is required.

SALARY:

  • Highly competitive annual salary in the range of $140,000 to $180,000 per year, based on your extensive experience and outstanding qualifications.
